Pukis

Today, pukis can be found anywhere. Almost all cities in Indonesia have pukis with many kinds of flavors and ingredients. Some pukis makers also begin trying to combine the original ingredients with modern ones, such as sprinkling of chocolate, cheese, strawberries, and others in order to fulfill the desire of the pukis lovers.

Ingredients:
200 gram wheat flour
150 gram sugar
150 ml full cream milk
50 ml coconut milk
50 gram melted butter
2 chicken eggs
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Topping:
Grated cheese
Chocolate sprinkle

Dough:
Prepare a plastic bowl, put the coconut milk, chicken eggs and sugar, whisk it until fluffy and thickened by using hand whisk (not using a mixer).
Put the flour, yeast, and milk in the bowl and stir it until blended.
Add salt and mix well again.
Then put the melted butted and set aside the dough for about 30 minutes
Heating:
After 30 minutes, heat the pukis mold that already smeared with butter. Use very small flame. Pour the dough into a "mouthed" glass. Then pour out to the mold. Fill 3/4 of the mold because the cake will swell. Sprinkle with grated cheese or chocolate or both. Then cover and cook until slightly brown in the bottom of the cake
